Students who remained on green for 20 out of the 23 school days in April were rewarded with Minute to Win It activities as part of our PBIS program.

Marengo Disposal came to visit 3rd grade and shared the importance of recycling and how their trucks work.





The third graders put on a wonderful performance at their music program!

The Pro Kids show with Tim Hannig is always a favorite of the students and staff at Locust. A special thank you to cePTA for arranging this fun and inspirational show for the students. Ask your child if they can tell you what PRO stands for




Preschool students and parents had a great time during their Block Party.








Third grade students attended the McHenry County Ag Expo at the fairgrounds in Woodstock. They learned about various crops, animals, machinery, and careers. Many of the volunteers were former students and members of our community.










Girl Scout Troop 1982 generously donated cookies for all the staff of the District.



The PBIS reward for the month of March was open gym. Students were able to participate in a variety of activities in the gyms and enjoyed some popsicles too.










Locust students received bags of books from Bernie's Books today. Student enjoyed looking through their books and trading with friends. Thank you Bernie's!
