
6th graders had a blast hiking at Moraine Hills State Park. One of their activities involved creating art with nature, based on Andy Goldsworthy’s nature art. Check out their creative canvas!










6th graders also enjoyed creating art from nature, visiting the nature center, and picnicking for lunch!










6th graders had a blast hiking at Moraine Hills State park and learning about Lake Defiance which formed from a large chunk of ice that broke off of a glacier over 10,000 years ago! They also made friends with a tiny creature on the trail!











The Band and Choir last Friday participated in the Trills and Thrills festival! The band received an excellent rating and the choir a superior rating!








6th Graders in Mrs. Orozco's math class celebrated crushing their MAP goals by creating a Lego zoo! We have an aviary for our duck and chicken, an aquarium for our fish, dolphin, and hammerhead shark, an arctic tundra for our penguin and polar bear, and lastly an African safari for our lion and "fancy" giraffe with a top hat! Great Job 6th Grade!!

6th grade students made paper airplanes and tested their designs using three different launching methods.











7th Grade Computers playing the Sphero Darts game we programmed. They use protractors to determine the angle and then measure the distance to move toward a target, then makenl adjustments.

Students read " Cat in the Hat Comes Back" then had to work together to build the tallest tower using cups and notecards.









Students read "Horton Hatches an Egg" then built a nest that had to protect the egg from danger!



6th/8th grade students became entrepreneurs and presented their ideas to the Sharks!
