 This March 2nd-6th was Read Across America week, the nation's annual literacy event that was started in 1998 by the National Education Association (NEA). This event was designed to foster a love for reading in teens and youth of America and build around Dr.Seuss's birthday (March 2nd).It promotes reading with diverse books, author visits, and celebrating the love of reading through fun spirit day activities and events. Thank you to Mrs.Arreola and Mr. Escamilla for making the week extra spirited dressing up as Thing 1 and Thing 2!
