Grant chicks!
Grant is hatching some baby chicks and we are so egg-cited! We had 2 incubators and every morning the temperature and humidity was announced so classes could keep track of the eggs' progress. We had 8 chicks that hatched in total! They are a mix of breeds. The chicks already have homes waiting for them and will be leaving the school on Thursday. Until then, classes are rotating through Mrs. Wilson's office to see the chicks and learn all about chickens.

Ms. Bruening's math support class and Mrs. Struck's class made hot cocoa ornaments and drank homemade hot cocoa. A fun time was had by all!
