Seventh grade students attended a field trip to Brookfield Zoo. While at the zoo students worked with their group to complete a scavenger hunt finding fun facts about the various animals. They also completed a zoo booklet about six different animals and their habitats. Students have been working on cross-curricular activities in math and science. Students have been researching animal habitats in science class and are applying that knowledge in mathematics to develop a blueprint for their very own zoo!
