Principal Appreciation Day - Friday, October 29th.

Principals across the nation work hard to provide the best education and leadership possible, and it’s time to give them a hand.  Mrs. Suellen Lopez, Principal/Locust Elementary, Mrs. Renee Schermerhorn, Principal/Ulysses S. Grant Intermediate and Mr. Brad Breakfield, Principal/Marengo Community Middle School.   The quality of a school's learning environment and the ability of a school to do what is best for its students comes as a direct result of the leadership provided by the school's principals and leadership team.  Courageous leadership is essential to equitably educate students and work to provide the resources and support they need to reach their potential.  It is important that we recognize and encourage our school Principals every day.  The pandemic has heightened the need for us to share appreciation for those who do so much for our students.  Please thank your school Principal for all he or she does for your students, district 165 and the community.  WE APPRECIATE OUR DISTRICT 165 PRINCIPALS.
